If you worked with another student in a summer or other research program you are considered a team project whether or not your research partner is participating in the WSSEF. If you partnered and they do not want to continue with you in the WSSEF you must contact SRC or Fair Director to get permission to change to an individual project. This is only allowed under certain circumstances.
Once a project has competed in a science fair at any level (regional fair), team membership cannot change and the project cannot be converted from an individual project to a team project or vice versa.
In a future research year, any project may be converted from an individual to a team project, from a team to an individual project and/or have a change in team membership.
