Congratulations! … to all students participating in the 69th Annual Washington State Science & Engineering Fair.
Each student received email notification of their placement following the Fair. All students receive 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Honorable Mention placement and participation ribbons with First Place students receiving a trophy.
First place trophies were awarded on-stage to grades 1 – 8. Students in grades 1 – 8 receive their participation and 1st, 2nd, 3rd or Honorable Mention awarded ribbons with their judges’ comment sheets to their mailing address.
Grades 9 – 12 First Place students received a trophy on-stage. Rosette ribbons were not available during the award ceremony and will be mailed to each First Place grade 9 – 12 student at no-charge-to-student courtesy of WSSEF. Students in grades 9 – 12 receive their participation and 2nd, 3rd or Honorable Mention awarded ribbons with their judges’ comment sheets to their mailing address.
Unclaimed First Place trophy procedure: 1) The grade 1 – 12 First Place awards are posted on the website. 2) First Place students that chose not to attend the award ceremony can request their trophy be mailed to their registered mailing address for a $25 shipping/handling fee.
Special awards were announced and presented on-stage to students grades 1 – 12. Special awards are judged based on the award sponsors’ criteria. If a student was not present on-stage, their special award will be mailed to them courtesy of WSSEF. Notecards pre-addressed to the award sponsor were included with your award. Please make the effort to write your ‘thank you’ on the card, add a stamp and mail them to the award sponsors.
